		<description>of course we need to have our basic needs met, but the school system cannot totally make up for a disfunctional home. on the other hand, it is definately to the student&#039;s educcational advantage to take into consideration each student&#039;s individual situation. i truly believe that this is possible even within a large urban school, if the educational system is properly organized. i think we need to stop hiding in the comfort of manuels and statistics and start addressing the human aspect of education or we will continue to lose potentially successfull students.</description>
